How It Works
A curling event with us kicks off with a mini-lecture in our Curling Bar, where you’ll get an introduction to curling. You’ll learn the basic rules, a bit of history, and the theory behind how the game is played.
Once everyone has put on the proper footwear (curling shoes) and received their brooms, we head to the ice and teach you the techniques needed to play. You’ll learn how to “slide” (the movement used to deliver stones), get an introduction to sweeping technique, and gain insights into the art of skipping—reading the ice, tracking the stone’s path, and strategizing with your teammates.
After the theoretical and practical training, we divide into teams and play matches. Our instructors can help set up a tournament, and we offer different formats depending on the group size and available time.
