AT BYGDØY CURLING CLUB – Open from May 23rd to August 6th!
We remove the ice from the rinks in mid May and convert our curling hall to Summer games! You can have a summer party and combine a visit with other activities on Bygdøy, such as swimming, grilling, or dining at Lille Herbern.
Summergames is a good vibe get-together with activities. Experience a unique decathlon of large and challenging skill games from all corners of the world! It perfect for companies or large groups of friends!
We are open from May 23rd to August 6th.

WHAT GAMES DO YOU ACTUALLY HAVE?
Well, let me tell you:
Bowls or Lawn Bowls
Bowls is a British precision sport similar to boccia and pétanque. Normally played on grass, but here we play it on carpets. The special thing about Bowls is that it’s played with asymmetrical balls, around 15 cm in diameter. Due to the uneven weight distribution, the balls don’t roll straight, meaning you can curl them a little like in curling! We can’t wait to try this with you. For 2 to 4 players.
Deckshuffle
Deckshuffle is a precision game where you push large pucks down a 16-meter-long lane and aim to score points in different zones. Just like curling, you can knock out your opponent, set up guards, and place your pucks strategically. Very fun and exotic.
Cornhole
Cornhole is an American game where you throw corn bags onto a slanted board with a hole in it. If you land the bag on the board, you get a point; if it goes through the hole, you get three points. This is a fun combination of technique, precision, and strategy.
Mega Jenga
You might have played regular Jenga, the classic game where you stack a tall tower and then take one piece at a time to place on top without toppling the tower. Well, this summer, we have a 2.5-meter-high tower, requiring fine motor skills, strategy, and maybe just a little luck.
Laddergolf
Laddergolf, or "stigegolf," has become very popular in Norway in recent years. Here, you get three bolas (two golf balls connected by a small string) that you aim to toss onto a ladder. Very entertaining and easy to get hooked on!
Sjoelbak
This is a Dutch shuffleboard game where you send pucks down a 2.5-meter-long table, aiming for holes at the end of the table to score. It requires competition spirit, precision, and strategy to win!
Crokinole
This Canadian board game, often described as "table curling," is one of the world’s best skill games, and you can get super hooked on it. Very social and entertaining!
Bordtennis
Probably needs no introduction, but we promise good playing conditions, professional tables, great paddles, and nets!
Dart
A crucial part of our clubhouse is the dartboard. Every time we host tournaments or gatherings, it's in use, and the temperature can get high when playing cricket or other dart variations. We also promise top-notch darts and a good introduction for new players.
MINIGOLF - BEERPONG
A new feature this year is a unique combination of beerpong and mini-golf, where the goal is to "hole" your balls first, just like in beerpong. You won't find this anywhere else in the city! It’s a lot of fun to play 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2.
KURRONG
A good old classic to the delight of new generations. We have a “professional” Kurrong table used in competitions. Very fun and high-quality!
FUSSBALL
New this year, we’ve invested in a high-quality Fussball table worth 30,000 NOK. This is the real deal, and you can play 1v1 or 2v2.
Giga Chess
Curling is often compared to chess on ice, where opening moves and tactics shape our competitive environment. Many curlers love chess. And we think the large boards look really cool!

In the clubhouse, we’ll have a variety of awesome skill games!
You can play Crokinole, Rollet, Pucket, Carrom, Klask, Tumbling Dice, Snurrebassbowling, and we also have backgammon and regular chess, as well as rafflebags and other options in the clubhouse. We might even expand with more games from our partners at Kvalitetstid.no and Analog Spillklubb.
PRACTICAL INFO AND PRICES
Drop-in opening times are planned and will be announced.
For now, we are only accepting pre-bookings for groups of at least 10 people. Booking is open now!
We sell ice cream, soda, and toast at the kiosk, and we can arrange great catering for groups of over 12 people.
Grill food with your own chef, pizza, stews, tapas, etc.
If you’d like to enjoy some finer drinks, it’s allowed to bring your own after agreement.
Private individuals from 375 NOK per person (payment via Vipps)
Companies 485 NOK per person (payment via invoice)
Prices apply for 2.5 hours of play – it’s possible to extend the time by arrangement for an additional fee.
Special arrangements can be made for groups over 30 people.
Members of Bygdøy Curling Club play for free.
